Here is a nice list to see if you can become a master networking:
Do you have the energy that attracts or repels?
Do you really want to build a relationship?
Can you sell candy to a stranger?
Can you handle rejection?
Do you listen well?
Please take the time to ponder on these questions, they will determine if you will become a master at networking. These questions may seem that they are not interrelated, but they are all related. For this blog, I will elaborate more on number 3 because I think that that one may be the one, you may be saying, “Why is that important?” Remember that I am the Girl behind my podcast on Facebook and YouTube, “Girl, Who Don’t You Know?! and I never meet strangers.
I am not saying “stranger - danger” when it comes to networking, it is more like “stranger - opportunity”. Changing how you see the person’s role in your life will change the way you to app
roach any task that involves them. Your focus for this example, should be the amount of candy you need to sell to reach your goal. Now, you can use the same “selling candy” analogy to move anything in your life, you make the choice – “stranger – danger” equals no movement or “stranger – opportunity” equals open doors.
